so I applied the 24pkwn patch a while back for the untethered jailbreak on my mac, and I want to use LogoMe now. So do I have to restore with the regular Apple firmware, and then jailbreak that with the redsnow update .3? Or can I just rejailbreak my already jailbroken ipod? Thanks.

ok so now my question is can I go straight from untethered to redsn0w .3, or do I have to restore to normal apple firmware, and then jailbreak with .3

Either or. It doesn't matter. But being fresh on normal firmware then rejailbreaking is safer.

you can just go straight from where you are now, there's no need to restore to the default firmware, that's what i did and i've had no problems.
