    I followed this jailbreak http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144041&page=15

And I started my ipod, and restored from backup. And I have Installer and Cydia on there now.

I used the Cydia that came with Xpwn. And when I went to go open Cydia it started reorganizing, then my iPod Restarted I unlocked then Cydia opened normally.

So does this mean Cydia works for me properly?

Or what wrong with it? And how do I fix it?

Wait now when I restart my iPod not in jailbroken state it just sits on the Apple Logo.

Is this what people mean by Cydia not working?

No. Cydia doesn't work in the Semi-Tethered jailbreak. What you've experienced is normal. First time launch with Cydia, it will go back to the unlock screen. Then when you launch it again, it will ask you for what kind of user you are then it will launch. But I don't have a solution for your second problem. Sorry.

    EDIT: MAI BAD

You DID do a semi-tethered. Yeah, Cydia doesn't work. Sozzy!!

So the Cydia not working problem is the part where it boots normally?

    It does not boot normally.

It will only boot into jailbroken state.

Hmm. Idk then... Sorry. I think that's what happened to me, and that's what made me restore to regular tethered.
