So do you need a top of the line PC to run Itunes with no delay?

Do you need like 10 gigs of ram, the new i7 Intel quad core processor, and at least 2.8 ghz with HT technology?

    <No trolling> <yes mad>

I press a tap on itunes, for example. "Applications" I have to do something else for 10 mins, then finally its caught up.

OR if i want the damn thing to SCROLL DOWN, there is a 15 second delay................. at least.

Is Itunes is a POS, or my computer can't handle it?????

Anyone else have this trouble, doing the simplest things ever?

    My stats.

    2.5 gigs ram
Intel Pent. 4 - 2.8 gigahertz with HT Technology
    800 megahertz front side bus.

iTunes is a POS and your computer is not the best also.

Apple is known for laggy windows software. With Core Animation, and Quartz extreme etc. It runs rather smoothly on my Mac.

I have a i7 920 with 12 gig and a sync takes 10 min on a 3G 32 gig with about 2 gig of apps/music/etc/etc....didn't used to before iTunes whatever the new version is. Tried everything to get it to sync faster but the new iTunes is truly as POS.

My problems is the freaking lag... when you goto your applications and try to scroll down, it takes like 5 mins to scroll down the freaking list.

.....not just entirely the syncing process.

It would probably lag harder on a MAC, lol.
