I just got an iPod Touch. I created a folder called "Bon Jovi" and put MP3's of my favorite songs into the folder. I then imported the folder into iTunes which was then synced to my iPod.

Everything works except it does something strange. Since the music is taken from various albums, it creates a new album for many of them. All I wanted was to have one album labeled Bon Jovi with all the songs in it.

So my question is, do I need to retag all the music so it says its from the same album?

    Yes.
But its easy enough, Just hold down ctrl and select all the songs you want to rename/add more details etc to and then right click one of the highlighted songs and select "Get info" Change everything you need and click ok. Everything should have been changed
