So basically, once you jailbreak, you can NEVER restore from a back up again?

So, even after you restore, then set up as a new iPod, and restore AGAIN but with a back up, jail break data still remains? And a DFU restore won't work to solve this issue?

So if you would restore like twice on another computer with iTunes, that never had a jailbroken device in it, and dont restore a backup, that would work?

Even if the guy who checks your iPod if it's jailbroken IS being anal with it, will that work?

If you set your device up as a new iPod you are fine.
It's only if you restore from a backup that some of the data is put back on there. Delete the backups if you want to be sure.

So, even if you use a back up made before jailbreaking for the first time, it has jailbrake data?

no, if you made it before you synced it with the jailbreak then it would be clean.

You can physically restore from a backup, but it would be pointless because if you have a custom carrier, etc. on there, it will still be there.
