I'm sure it's been asked, but it's all I want to know. Are all 2G jailbreaks tethered, or is there a way to have it non-tethered?

There are no "2g" jailbreaks. (If you're talking about iPod touch)

All the ones in 'development' (I'm starting to think it's a cruel joke - JOKING! CALM DOWN) are tethered to answer your question.

Yes. They are all currently tethered. That's why they haven't been released yet. There would be too many noobs screwing up their iPods.

    Whoops. Didn't see your post.

all the possible 2nd generation ipod touch jailbreaks are currently tethered yes (which is why the jailbreak isn't released yet), and supposidly there is a POSSIBILITY to get an untethered jailbreak somehow some way, they just haven't found out how to make it possible yet

well to make it clear the public has not been exposed to the tethered version because its very complicated. but yes if you see a 2g jb ipod it is probably tethered

Its not super complicated, all they'd have to do is put it in a pwnage tool. But, untethered= ftw.
