Interesting that Bluray is much much faster
What does that have to do with your Install time?
if apple made the switch to bluray earlier and distributed SL with bluray, install times could be 3x faster.
That's what I was wondering...
But they didn't, so what does it have to do with the install time?
And twice as expensive And un-necessary. All they need is a Dual Layer DVD. What is the use of using blu-ray for an Install that only needs 6+ GB of Space? Why put that on a 30 GB Blu ray disc and raise the price of the install disc to around 50+ dollars? Not to mention HAVING TO BUY THE DRIVE TO USE THE DISC.
I only said it would be faster, not that it was a good idea...
