GBA emulator proves it could work (SNES only used 2 buttons most of the time anyway). Is there one in the works? A port of the PSP emu, SNES TYL 4 would be great.

yes, but emulating an emulator inside an emulator is resource-heavy. not the best workaround

Yeah but you can convert SNES roms to .GBA roms and have working nes roms in gpsphone. They work, but they are slow.

a gb/gbc emulator seems likely to be the next one to be worked on when gpSPhone is fixed up to a reasonable state.

a snes emulator would be challenging to port with the number of buttons the controller has. if it was done, the buttons would have to be pretty small to fit them all in the screen.

again, this method is slow just like you said because of what it is doing. you can ask any programmer who writes/ports emulators; its just not the best way to go about doing things.

i agree a snes emulator would be very nice, a gb and gameboy color emulator would just bring my generations childhood back

The next one will most likely be the gbc/gb, the SNES has 2 extra buttons so converting SNES ROMs to GBA format would not ideal. They would have to create a whole new emu for the SNES.
