In 1.1.4 the SMS archive is stored in /var/mobile/Library/SMS/sms.db.
So what is the use of sms.db located in: /private/var/mobile/Library/SMS/ ?

    Another question:
I copied sms.db from both locations above to my PC, then sent a SMS to my iPhone and copied the new sms.db files again. When I check the size of these files, to my surprise the new files have exactly the same size (18432B) as the old ones. How can this be possible?

    Thanks

But isn't the content of this file supposed to be changed after I sent a new SMS message? Why the file size still exactly the same?
I check the inbox in the SMS application and my new message is shown there. If sms.db is unchanged, where can the inbox get the new message from? Thanks.
