I want a mic for the 2g mc that is like small or something that I can plug into the Jack so I can hold the itouch up to my ear when using friendcaller. So the sound comes outta the speaker but the sound goes into the mic. Does anything like this exist?? I don't mean a headset I mean just like a tiny mic with a Jack attached so I can plug it in. Does this exist?

Well if you buy headphones with a mic its usually up high enough on the cord to your mouth and you can hear your friend talking through the head phones. I don't think there is a accessory yet for the ipod that is a standalone mic.

Frick. So I mean like something that would be smaller than the Jack itself. And the Jack would go in. Earbuds won't stay in my ears unless I jam them in there. Owwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Switcheasy ThumbTacks are a small mic that you plug into your iPod. However, i dont think you could hear the sound while one is plugged in.

Yeah I was thinking thumbtacks too. I have the griffin italic. Cuts out the sound.

Would splitter have the right "pins" to carry both in and output?
