ok so basically i currently have a small telephone contract with rogers of like 20$ a month, just for emergency calls, and i plan to upgrade this contract to the new iphone 3g, so after i put it on the iphone 3g, how much will my 20$ contract cost?

Well, according to the current speculations, you can't use an existing plan when you buy an iPhone 3G, there are specific plans that you must utilize when you first activate your iPhone, and that will be done at your local Rogers, Fido, or Apple Store.

    Hope this helped!

I'm not sure if Rogers has an upgrade plan for the 3G iPhone. But, you'll for sure be paying over $20/month on a contract for the 3G iPhone. You'll need a plan along with a data plan, which is most likely to be expensive, similar to AT&T's $69.99/month.

Rogers has not commented on any 3G iPhone plan pricing yet.
