Just to make sure, after you've jailbreaked and have a few apps, the ipod becomes noticably slower when loading apps rite? Like Youtube, before i jailbreaked, it loaded instantly, now i have to wait 2-3 seconds before it loads, this isn't just me rite? I want to make sure.

it might be cause your ipod is too cold, this may sound stupid but the colder the ipod is the slower it is, it runs faster when its warm, if u dont belive me, it says it on the apple website somewhere

uh... well, nothing should change speed wise, cold, warm, jailbroken, in south america...

The very first time you run an app, it might be a bit slow (1-2 seconds) - if you close the app just by "going home" - vs- holding the home button down for 5 seconds until it closes, then the next time you run that same app it should be pretty much instantaneous.

Jailbreaking does nothing to the speed. Running every app you can find at the same time can slow things down a bit.
