Using Customize (Not 2.0), place images in a folder inside ~/Library/Customize/MainsliderImages.

I don't see a Customize folder under Libray.

Sorry, I'm using WinSHP to access the touch.

What fimware are you on? For 1.1.1/2 look in /var/root/Library/Customize...

    For 1.1.3/4, look in /var/mobile...

    I'm on 1.1.3

Here are the folders I see under Customize

    BadgeImages
    BatteryImages
    CarrierImages
    MainSliderImages
    MaskSliderImages

Both those 2 slider folders doesn't have any images I can replace the slider with.

You can place the image you want to use inside a folder in the MainSliderImages directory. You can then use Customize to change the slider.

Can it be done without Customize? I don't want to install anymore apps. Sort of like changing the battery image by replacing it.

If so, what do I need to name it?

I don't know the exact name offhand, but look in /System/Library/Coreservices/Springboard.app and look for any .png's that have slider in them. Sorry for not being as concise as I should.
