When is apple going to Fully unlock this wireless chip in the ipod touch 2nd gen?

i could understand keeping it sleeping for a bit to boost sales when they dip a bit but if the 2nd gen falls to the same fate as the 1st gen ,it wont run iOS 5 therefore having a sleeping chip in every ipod touch 2g thatll never work.

and also if apple dont unlock it , is there no way the devteam could?

I think you mean 3g. The 2gen doesn't have any sleeping chips that I've heard of.

So that's the iPod Touch 3G (the 32 and 64 ones) can have FM radio? That would be good, I heard something about the devs ect... not being able to find the codes to unlock the chips and stuff...

It has the ability for the FM radio, and it had the bluetooth part sleeping up until a while ago.
