Well, my iPod touch isn't functioning the way it should.
When I press the sleep button, the ipod sleeps and raises the volume. When I press the volume up button, it sleeps the ipod touch.
So I was wondering if any of you guys might have seen this problem before? I've tried restoring. If there's no ideas, I'm going to take the long trip to the apple store, but I have a dent in the back of the ipod and don't know if that will affect anything.
    Thanks guys

The top button that is black. It makes the iPod go to sleep.

If you are jailbroken and have the mobile substrate addon called Activator, try to remove it.

I've always just called it the lock button. I've never called that sleep mode.
