Sleek or Matted

    Is a hard case better when it is sleek(but gets smudges) or matted(but collects more dust)?

    ^if the hard case doesn't scratch, it's fine(smudging doesn't really bother). Don't get ANYTHING that will attract dust and particles...

    Well to me, smudges are one of the reasons to get a case, so I don't smudge the back of the iPod

    I would focus more on dust collecting, so get a smooth/sleek hard shell case so that doesn't happen. Smudges can easily be removed by using a wet paper towel or something like that.

    Now I've heard that matted texture doesn't collect dust, is this true? Before I though it was a dust magnet

    no, i have a hard case, and it never gets smudged or anything
    and it doesnt collect dust neither
    i suggest getting a sleek one
