Skywooth is an upcoming Third-party app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Our mission is to make the world's most advanced and easy to use third-Party program for jailbroken iPhone/iPod touch's.

Skywooth will have an app for the iPhone/iPod Touch (Of course)

And even a program for Mac and Windows. (Like iTunes, but ONLY with an advanced, beautiful, easy to use App Store.)

We would later make our own Developer Program for Mac AND Windows. which would be 100% free. (But it would cost up to 4 dollars for every app you set in the Skywooth Installer, if the app costs money.)

We'll support a LOT of languages for the App, and the program in Mac/Windows too.

We have got an amazing easy to use interface, an advanced rating-system, demo videos for every app in the store (so you can see them in action before downloading them), screenshots for every iPhone/iPod touch App and we even listen to what our users think a PERFECT iPhone/iPod touch App Installer should have.

All that is just one planet in the universe of all that we a going to make for this brand new upcoming installer for the iPhone!

    But now to the Thread..

    - What does Skywooth sound like?
    - Would you like to work for this project? And be something like Developer (Who build the program for Mac/Windows / Build it for iPhone/iPod touch too), or maybe graphic designer?
    - What do you miss/like in third-party apps like such as Installer, Cydia and the App Store?
    - Have you any ideas yourself?

Personally, I would hope for PayPal payment option for developers, 70% cut, but no extra flat fee for the developer program.

I don't mean any offence to you guys, but the installation platform for the iPhone and iPod touch is pretty crowded at the moment. I'd focus on 3.0, and maybe you could be the equivalent of Cydia for the 3.0 age.

It's going to need to be very polished though to throw that crown off, so best of luck!
Also, charging devs to publish apps is a very bad idea unless you become popular.

One question, how can Windows users develop apps? Are you going to make a completely 3rd Party SDK?

The Skywooth installer would be for the the 3.0 age.
And about charging devs to publish apps would in the first place be free, if we then become very popular we would beginning to take money for developers who publish apps in our store which cost money.

One thing is certain. We don't wan't ads in Skywooth like in Cydia.

That would be awesome. And ads are good for the developers, by the way. No need to get rid of them.

Whew, another installer? Better be focusing on 3.0, cause thats going to weed out the bad ones.

    This is exciting though xD
So this would be like another Cydia Store?
