So I broke my Skullcandy FMJ's that I only paid $20 for, and whaddya know, the warranty gave me $70 credit for their store. The problem is, they discontinued the FMJ's (I can still buy the FMJ's for $50 but what's the fun in that lol) and added the "Fix in-ear" for the same price. I can only use the credit on one item, so which should I get? Thanks! (I know I should be getting Sennheiser, Klipsch, or Shure or something but I only have the credit for Skullcandy and I don't have a credit card or anything.)
Believe it or not, Skullcandy has apparently fixed up some of its sound woes I know of a few models that got updated to sound better overall and receive some good reviews from audiophiles. I know that the Hesh 2 was actually talked about positively on more than one occasion. I know it's not an IEM, but may suit you with a hefty price tag of 69.95 (leaving you 5 cents left over ).
Yeah, I've heard about that...BUT the Hesh are kinda weird looking...which I shouldn't really care about. So should I get the Hesh or the Fix? They're both new in their line, so the must be decent sounding.
I have not read anything on the Fix. So I can't comment. If you get the Hesh, get the Hesh 2 (or II). That's all I really can say. I haven't been able to get samples of any Skullcandy products to test and review, so I can't say anything from personal experience.
Okay. I have heard that the sound of the Fixes are better than the FMJ's, and the FMJ's I had very well balanced sound, at least on my pair.
If I'm not mistaken, the FMJs were said to be a better pair of the old line of Skull Candy. Well, you've gotten my input. Hopefully someone else can come along and give theirs
