Skpe cable for VoIP?

    ok, so my friend has a skpe cable that pulgs into his computer, if i put a cable a splitter into my ipod,( cable that makes ur one ipod headfone jack into 2)and i plug in the mic jack and the headfone jack, will this work? wil it makes the voice and sound quilaty better?


    anyone know?

    I'm guessing you mean, Skype...???

    Anyways, I think the only way you can use Skype on your Ipod Touch is to have Fring on your Ipod Touch. Even then you won't be able to make phone calls but you should be able to instant message.

    obnxoius, but does the cable that I have work for the voip application? Or do I need to by the touchmods mic?


    I want to use the skype cable for voip, not the applcation
  4. I do know there is a web app called iSkype in installer... i use it for sms and calling people so they pickup... i don't know about the headphone splitter, but prob not

    The headphone jack is not line-in, so a mic wont work with it.
