hello I am really sorry for this noob question but I did search and was unable to find anything by scanning through the thread titles... so here is my question: I have an ipod 3G on firmware 4.1, recently jailbroken with limerain. after jailbreaking, I tried to save my SHSH blob using tinyumbrella and here are the logs:

    10/10/2010 01:32:59.136 Processing SHSH Request...
10/10/2010 01:32:59.141 Asking CYDIA for SHSH blobs for iPod3G 4.1 (8B117)... 10/10/2010 01:33:15.365 SHSH SUCCESSFULLY saved! [Click Here to Open] 10/10/2010 01:33:15.370 You have saved your SHSH locally and the request was sent to CYDIA. This means that CYDIA DOES have your SHSH. Do NOT bug semaphore about the Cydia home page showing this version.
10/10/2010 01:33:15.382 Caching shsh files... 10/10/2010 01:33:15.388 Found [1] shsh files to cache...
    10/10/2010 01:33:15.401 Cached [1] shsh files
10/10/2010 01:33:25.876 4369760214454-ipt-3g-4.1.shsh has been opened in Explorer

and I have opened up the folder where the SHSH is and see that it's only 60k plus an empty folder... is that normal?
sorry again for all these noob stuff

The files should be *******.shsh or *******.shsh.bak

the ******* can be anything, I just forgot it, its like your udid. The file is 64kb and it should be in a folder named .shsh if not then nevermind. and a folder named knowndevices next to it.
