For people who only read the title, it's all anonymised. It can't be tracked back to you. How do you feel now?

Anonymized? Give me a break! All that means in this context is that your Siri data isn't automatically tied to your Apple ID; any of the data (say, your voice or your contact list) can still easily be tracked back to you, especially if you use services like iCloud.

Still, Apple at least informs you that they're going to do this when you turn on Siri; it's not hidden in some 40-page agreement, so that's a step up. ;)

Wait, so the people sharing their Siri keys for those Siri-on-A4 devices have a huge pile of info connected to them? Or is this per device? How does that work?

Honestly, I believe all of these stories about being tracked and your data is a little blown out of proportion. The vast majority of companies use this data to improve their product. And most of them don't really care about "who" you are. Excluding certain companies that are trying to track where you have been on the internet and in real life so that they can better sell you advertisements. Cough* Cough* Facebook
