Is there any way to upgrade your thethered iPod to a Semi-thethered iPod WITHOUT losing music, videos and photos?

Thank you. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Backup EVERYTHING on your iPod before you upgrade to semi.
I wouldn't go to semi if I were you though.
    Just do the run rs

Yeah, but how do you backup things like Music and Videos? That's my only real concern.

I would do the Run RS thing but the reason I want a semi-thethered iPod is so when it freezes, I can just turn it back on, I use my iPod A LOT for music.

You should have all your music and videos in iTunes already.

Use DiskAid, then go into the iTunes Control or w/e, then backup the whole music folder to your computer.
It has all of your Music and Videos together.

But why didn't you just put all of your music into iTunes? That'd be much easier.

Because [being honest], I don't always buy my music or videos. That's why they're not on iTunes already. Well, they ARE but how can I back them up if they're not bought?

you don't need to purchase songs to be able to have them in your library... you grab your downloaded mp3 (whatever format you use) and you can store it in your library.

Yeah, just put them into iTunes and don't worry about them after that.
Just re-sync them when you finish jailbreaking your iPod.
