[SIMPLE] How to recover from BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0 without restore.

    hi im having the same problem with my resoration "major 2 and so on" but when it says connect to itunes, neither ziphone or itunes detects it =( so yea i need help!

    if i download ziphone and i click jaiklbreak on it will it work?

    if you are using the newest ziphone, then yes, it will work :)

    well, you're one of the lucky ones!
    unless you are using 1.6, and therefore the proggy is designed for iPot!

    Actually, i can off the phone, when i press and hold both button the same time for a long time. is there any wrong with my home button.
    Beside, when the ipod run out of battery, i charge it, and after that, it power on with the apple logo. I try to hold the home button to put it in restore mode but hopeless, it still get the BDS error.
    Can you plese help me!!
    my ipod is 16gb

    after holding down both buttons and then release the off button, it stilldoesnt connect to itunes... how do i restore the ipod anyway?

    this method works with the bsd root error? u know the major and minor thing? because i really want to jailbreak my ipod and i cant because of that error .. please help!!
