SIM cutting issue.

    im planning on buying an iPhone 4, but i have a Vodafone with the big contacts

    will it still work after i use it with a sim cutter?

    best thing to do is use the sim cutter on another sim, then see how the cut out sim looks like - that should show you if it's going to cut the chip or not

    I cut all my sim cards (4 in total) using a pdf template. There are tonnes of useful ones just google them. None of them failed me. Oh and its good to use a file to smoothen the edges out.

    i know how to cut a sim thank you, but i want to know if i'm going to get issues, since the metal contacts on the VF SIM is bigger

    I had to apply a very small amount of tape to the edges (1-1.5mm) of my Vodafone cut sim to stop it shorting out with the sim carrier

    Well I dont have issues with it. Facetime and 3G works fine. And im on vodafone nz

    I'm sure Vodafone offer micro SIM solutions.

    ...yeah all carriers in canada charge 5$ for a microsim... pretty sure most carriers around the world are the same and, well, if you can't afford that then u shouldn't have an iPhone 4

    in Vodafone you have to buy another one, you cant even exchange it!


    i only have 1 SIM, and im sure noone is going to give em one for testing.
