    Hey.

Just got an iPod Touch 2 days ago (and jailbroken to 1.1.4!) and it's brand spanking new. Unfortunately, when I bought an iPod 5th gen, I did a mistake by not buying a case for it. Now after 2 years od use its scratched like heck and I dropped it on the floor like two times.

Now I hate the back part of the iPod because of how simple it is to scratch. My friend suggested me to get a silicone case for that. But then I'm afraid that I might drop it. So that's where the plastic case comes in. I can't buy my cases online or eBay, only locally. Can you tell me which cases are perfect for my Touch, and why? Thanks!

If I may, I suggest none of the above. Use the best one there is, .. leather. leather cases are mostly great and it absorbs shock better than silicone.

silicone is way better for drops because it actually absorbs shock. Plastic cases can scratch or crack.

I say leather just because plastic and silicone look bad and feel weird.

I bought this case and it is working out great. It doesn't have an annoying belt clip, it's thin and looks nice. Not to mention it absorbs shock better than ever. I picked it up at my local Future Shop for $35 CAD.
