A lot of my friends like these shows, but I can't stand them: 1. South Park: It was only funny when it unintentionally brought Shock Value/Hidden Sight Gags. The newer episodes are crap, usually because it takes 1-2 days to write an episode of South Park (True). The show tries too hard to provide Social/Political commentary, and fails. 2. Family Guy: The older episodes were funny because there was actual humor regarding the plot, certain characters, and other elements. 90% of the jokes in "new" FG derive from the Cutaways that make no sense, drawn-out jokes that get more awkward each time, and obvious Effortless Time-Fillers. 3. The Office: It sucks. The English version's better. Steve Carrell is an unfunny prick. ------------------double post merged------------------One more: 4. Scrubs: Every episode is about the same thing. JD tries to impress Turk, or Turk tries to impress JD by doing something foolish, and it pisses off Elliot/Carla. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox and Dr. Kelso make fun of people. The show can use some variety once in a while. Also, I hate the fact that it's the 21st century, yet most episodes of the show look like they were filmed with a 1993-quality camera.
