So should I upgrade my iPod Touch from 3.1.3 to iOS 4 or stick with 3.1.3 until the apps I have is iOS 4 tested? I don't want to upgrade and the app doesn't work for it and my favorite app this is not ready for iOS 4 is A Fake Caller App from Hot Potato but should I just upgrade anyway and wait for this app to be iOS 4 tested?

If apps are not iOS 4 ready, that doesn't mean they won't work with it. I say go ahead and upgrade, just make sure you back up your SHSH blobs.

I guess I'll do it when I get it but I'll test out A Fake Caller app and see if it works or not I'm sure it might work for iOS 4

I'm 99% sure it will work. If it doesn't, restore back to 3.1.3. Just make sure you back up your 3.1.3 SHSH blobs, or you won't be able to restore back to it.

EDIT: Hey, I have iOS 4! I'll test it.

I'm downloading the free version right now. Let's see if it works. Note the paid and free versions will have the same outcome, if you were wondering.

I can now confirm that it does work! Yay!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to upgrade my iPod to the 4.0.

It was well worth it.Don't listen about the bugs it has.

Your iPod will run so much faster.Apps and pages load a lot faster. It doesn't have the 2-4 second lag between. It pops up super smooth.

I miss my jailbroken iPod 3.1.3 but the 4.0 is well worth it.

That's what I like about iOS 4 faster and better performance and I'll upgrade when I get the chance to play around with 3.1.3 and say goodbye boring black homescreen and say hello to the new homescreen!

You say it even though the iPod 64GB doesn't have Apple's chip I don't care I'm gonna go straight to iOS 4 when I get it and I'll begin testing out apps and see if they'll will work on iOS 4!

It doesn't but it has better performance.I know because I got sick and tired of waiting seconds for settings or something else to pop up.Now it's faster and another thing is it's very smooth. It's not skippy it's smooth.
