I'm leaning over to yes, but I'll have to backup everything and I'm not sure what I SHOULD backup, because I have lots of stuff and I don't want it all to go away.
Yes, I know about AptBackup. I've used it many times, even though it necessarily doesn't back up EVERYTNING, it does most of the job.
I copied my entire mobile folder to my computer. I don't know if the 3.0 has redesigned the heiarchy (or however you spell it), but I'm planning to copy the whole thing back after I upgrade.
So is there anything I need to backup so I won't lose anything precious?
    Should I wait?
Should I not do it at all?
    Please answer
    Thanks

I'm with ya man, i want to upgrade but the same time i don't want to. I Like the features in 3.0 but i don't want to put up with the Jailbreak bugs. So guess the best option will be to wait it out until the bugs are worked out.

    I guess...
But let's see anyone else has something to say, because I want a second opinion.

Well, with a 2G version I would say yes (due to bluetooth alone). I have the 1G and I upgraded to 3.0 and so far the only thing I like is the landscape keyboard. Bluetooth is not available on the 1G models. Bottom line, it's only 10 bucks. Why not give it a shot.

But what I'm worried about is the jailbreaking part.

    That's it
I have decided, I'm going to wait.

I'm saying no, Bluetooth is the best feature but besides that the jailbreak is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo buggy and its not worth it. and most of my themes/apps in cydia arent compadible with 3.0 firmware yet

    Yeah...
I'm going to wait until it gets more stable.
redsn0w still IS at 0.7, meaning it's beta.

I hated the fact that SO many little kids mad esuch a huge deal about this jailbreak, it is TOOOO BUGGY, wait a month, my 2.2.1 jailbreak is still FAR superior than bugyyy 3.0. Bluetooth come on WE OWN ipod touches, not iPhones what u need to pair a headset to ur ipod right away, WAIT dont mess ur ipod up yet with this 3.0

    Yes, I know it's buggy
That's why I have decided not to do it yet.

that s not what that mean, all their releases have been 0.3, or 0.2 and so on, I dont think its a beta. The buggienss we are talking about isnt from REdsnow, thats stable its the 3.0 firmwasre thatsw unstable with jailbroken apps, ur not getting anytthing better than the current redsnow
