Afternoon all, stumbled across this site whilst researching the itouch jailbreak news...

I'm not an owner yet but am hoping to be very shortly.

My big issue is wether or not I actualy need the iphone as my phone works great but its the wifi browsing and mail that I really want to ease my gadget envy!

I'll keep reading until I'm happy, and hoping this site will help.

    see you around the forums

You should definitely get an ipod touch if you like your phone service. Once you jailbreak your touch you can do practically everything you can do with your iphone except for use bluetooth. Ipod touch FTW!

    Hi,

The ipod touch has less risk with jailbreaking , no associated monthly fee along and more memory (depending upon the model).

I had the choice between the two as well. I wanted the iPod since I didn't really need a phone and it came with more memory compared to the iPhone.
