    i have a 8GB iPhone.. should i sell? a guy want's to buy it for 300$ cash tonight..
    will i be able to get the new iphone for 199$ without using at&t?

    Just keep it, I think can't get one without the contract.
    But again, many will be having the new one.

    on ebay they sell them for 200

    sell it now!!! if you don't get the new one you can always buy your back on ebay for 200.

    On eBay people are buying unlocked 1st gen iPhones for $400.

    That's a decision you'll have to decide, although considering the release of the 3G iPhone, and it's price in comparison, that's a good offer. Purchasing a 3G iPhone will require that you activate a minimum 2-year contract with AT&T, you can't leave the store without purchasing a plan. AT&T is the exclusive carrier of the 3G iPhone.

    don't sell it you will lose money cause you are forced apon the contract and the plan is like $100 bucks a month. didn't you think there was a reason for the iphone to be cheaper than the pod???
