Well I currently have an ipod touch 3g 8gb with 4.0 firmware jailbroken through jailbreakme website. My ipod been really slow lately like 10 sec delay when I open an app or something and I want to know if I should restore my ipod touch or not? I have SBSettings also and I check processes every time and it has nothing on it and still slow.

I do like it fast too. I compared my sister's ipod touch to mine and hers is really fast compared to my ipod touch. But hers is not jailbroken... so yeah I will probably restore it.

Or you could actually remove the problem, and get rid of some mobile substrate add-ons... Those are what would cause the slow speed, more likely than not.
