I have an HTML app from OpenAppMkt sitting right here on my iPod Touch 2g that jailbreaks with Comex or something (EDIT: I just read that it's an app the jailbreaks with jailbreakme,) and I'm debating whether to just slide to jailbreak or not.

    Here are my questions.

    - Is it illegal?

    - WILL I be able to remove all history of jailbreaking it, should something go wrong and I have to bring it to Apple? (I worry a lot...)

    - Is it easy to bring back the original software?

    Thanks!

I can't find your guide because of some post count signature thing.

EDIT: Nevermind, I've got Cydia now! Thanks anyway!

You guys might want to remind him that he does lose his warranty the entire time he is jailbroken, so if something does break, he cannot send it back to Apple.

    Ugh. No.
All you have to do is restore your ipod with itunes
And it would be as there was no sign of jailbreaking sense apple is stupid enough to remove everything when restoring.
    Which is a good thing.
