i am thinking of jailbreaking my ipod touch 3rd gen 3.1.3. with spirit. but one thing i am concerned is with memory, i only have 3 gb left out of 7gb. I dont think that is enough space for apps and even if it is, I want to install more games and i dont want to remove the apps i have since i paid for them. how much space does cydia take up? with like 10 themes and [unicorn dust]
also, dont it to slow down my ipod touch..

DO IT! I have had 1GB left in the past and there was no problem. Honestly, I think Cydia apps take up less space than most app store apps. Also, do not talk about cracked apps as now you will recieve an infraction.

Do it, cydia, themes, tweaks All take up very little space and aside from apps you will have plenty of space

I had a jailbroken ipod touch 2g, but it got kind of "iffy" to me. I just didn't like it anymore, and I seem to be only one who notices a slow down, instability and lost of battery life out of my friends.

Emulators aren't that great, many games run slow, and the sound is off. Not worth it in my opinion.
I can care less about winterboard, themes.

The only thing I miss is SBsettings.

You should do it, it allows you to customize your ipod.
