Hi All, I have a jailbroken ipod touch 2g and I'm currently running version 3.0, using Mac OSX 10.4.11

I have updated my itunes 9.0.2, If I connect it to itunes will it force me to upgrade to the latest firmware? (will I have to jailbrake to the latest version?)

Also what is the differences between version 3.0 jailbrake and the latest firmware? Any new features?

    Thanks.

No, it will not force you to update. There aren't any new features, just bug fixes. Only major updates like 2.0, 3.0 have new features. Most people don't even bother updating to 3.1 because they don't want to go through the trouble of rejailbreaking, redownloading everything and whatever.
