I have Cydia now, but it is incredibly slow. Can I install Rock in addition to Cydia? Is Rock any faster?

Thanks. I guess I'll just hope that either Rock smooths out the problems, or Cydia speeds up.

i would not! it would cause Cydia and Rock to collide creating frustrations and ending up to restore again.

I'm using both, but only using Rock for more minor things as it does tend to crash. Cydia's slowness is annoying, but using both is fine for me right now.

Cydia's only slow cuz it has to load hundreds and hundreds of packages depending on how many sources you have each time you open Cydia.

I use both Cydia and Rock together and haven't had any problems with crashing or anything.
But every time I use Cydia I get like 5-10 errors every time I install something the install still goes thru but the errors are just annoying.
So I use Rock 99% of the time and have only gotten an error one time and it has never crashed for me yet.

I used black rain and installed rock and cydia(not at the same time though) Rock has only crashed once on me but its a hell of alot faster and has a better look to it.
