Okay I bought an HP laptop last week I didn't like it so I returned it... I wanna buy a mac, but I'm concerned about the RAM the laptop I had last week had 3GB and the macs only seem to have either one or two.. So I don't know, I'm someone who like running tons of program at the same time..

Another question you know they are different versions of Vista (basic, premium...) but are they different versions of Mac OS?

    Thanks for you help

You could by a Mac...or you could by a PC with Vista installed.

I think you know where I'm going with this.

Buy what you want. You can hear 2 standpoints. The Windows-Biased standpoint of 11 year old boys who love Macs, or the Mac-Biased standpoint of 11 year old boys who love PC's.

I'd get a Mac laptop, but I'd also keep the Windows PC.

I want a mac, I just need some of my questions answered to make a wiser choice..

I don't wanna spend the extra 200$ to buy microsoft office for mac if iWork can do the job. Are they comparable products?

(consider that I'm only a college student so text processing a spreadsheet is we're talking about here)
