Like the official Dev. Teams jailbreak version 3 from conceited software or should I do the iJailbreak mobile which one is the best. And best I mean Summerboard and Customize work. No installer problems, because that's why I'm ****ing reJailbreaking. And one is quickest, easiest, and smoothest?

Soft upgrade is a software upgrade. It tricks your iPod, iTunes and iNstaller.app into thinking your on a genuine 1.1.3. Its a total Bullsh*t method if you ask me. cant wait for a JailBreakMe or a TOUCHfree version to come out for 1.1.3 so we can actually be on a genuine firmware.

So there is no Jailbreak released yet that is not a soft upgrade. Then I want to wait for a genuine one too.

iJailbreak is an enhanced iPhone iBrickr, yes it uses iPhone firmware, so you will see iPhone-like behavior.

Use the dev team jailbreak. It uses iPod touch firmware and it does not break the files that are mandatory for the SDK that may come up this month.

Yeah, soft upgrade is upgrading the software, not the firmware, it tricks iTunes and your iPod's system into thinking that it is 1.1.3, while it is actually 1.1.2 firmware with 1.1.3 features. Its like almost the same and it may be difficult to tell. But even so, it is still not genuine firmware. Thus, "soft upgrade".

    question about the SDK..

when it does come out will it need a certain firmware to use it?
and how can this "SDK" be used....like a app or a firmware?

    sorry if im unclear
