I have a 64GB iPod touch at the moment, and am wondering if I should sell it to get an 8GB 4G. Now, I know that I am losing a ton of space, but I have, over the last year, gone from a 40GB library to a 6GB library. Is it worth it?

NO! DONT DO IT! The OS takes up 2 gigs of space. Video Recording takes up 1hr/6.5 gigs of space. On top of that, your music + apps. It won't be enough space.

No way you can get $275 on Craigs list if it's in great shape then save a little for a 32. Gb ipt4. The 8 is just way too small.

But I would be getting it for the HD Video. If I can't fit something, I will just stream it from my computer.

Its not worth it. You would have to sell it for less than you paid for it. BTW an 8gb ipod touch 4 uses 1.5GB of space for the ios. You will have 6.5GB free when you first plug it in. Its better to stay with what you have because then you can get tons of apps. Video recording also takes up a lot of space, so dont expect to take a lot of videos on an 8GB if it is filled up with a lot of music and apps.

Apple has already reimbursed me the entire price of the ipod, so I would be content with selling it.

sell your current one on craigslist, and use the money to buy at least a 32gb 4G. me i had to go all out and get the 64gb 4g cause i am a diehard ipodtouchfan.
