My uncle has an HP Pavilion DV9000 (i think, from what my cousin told me) that he will sell me for $50. As far as i know it needs a new inverter and it will work fine. It has 1GB RAM and 120GB HDD. This is all i know about it. Is it a good computer? I already have a Toshiba Satellite with 250 GB HDD and 2GB RAM. Should i buy the Pavilion? If i do i want to make it a hackintosh. Can i do that? Is it compatible? My Toshiba wont run anything over 10.5.2 and i was hoping the pavilion would run Snow Leopard. Thanks for anyone who helps

I have snow leopard for AMD and Intel. It's 10.6.2. Would that work on it?

Since the CPU is AMD, the GPU is probably a weird ATi integrated chip. Idk which builds support that.

You might get it to work but some hardware (Internet, sound, video) might not work properly and it would lag a lot.
