Hey guys.. I'm gonna buy this ''amazing'' ipod touch!
But I really want you to help me with it.. I mean, should I buy it or not?
I want an 8GB and I'll jailbreak it.. I have some few questions :

    - Do any iPhone apps work on the touch? Is it the EXACT same thing? (<- I really need the map app, but I want the same as iPhone)

    - Is the internet / youtube things free?

    - Will it break in a month +?

    - Did you regret it?

    Thank you very much!

The iphone apps work(besides phone and sms of course)
it is free, you just have to have access to wifi
it will not break, and if it does apple will replace it for free for the first year you have it
    no

    get one

    * The map is the same thing, 100% the same, mail works fantastic, weather, stocks, notes, etc work wonderfully

    - Is the internet / youtube things free?
Safari and youtube are 100% free, as long as ur in a wifi network to view them...

    - Will it break in a month +?
nope, maybe in a week or maybe in 3 years, as long as u dont add too many apps and take care of it, and follow guides

    - Did you regret it?
NOOO, NEVER!!! THE BEST THING EVER!

    hope it helps...

P.S. for some, Google Maps works faster on the touch than on the iPhone...

I don't think there is such thing as too many apps

Really, when u go to itunes, the orange bar "other" is other memory than music and movies, so thats where the apps are, the apps themselves are like less than 100MB, if u install over 10 pages...but the "temp" storage is whats killing it...the temp can go up to 4 GB, for ex: say u want to look up some on maps, well u go to a place, saves caches on the ipod temp folder, then u can access it without being on wifi, do i explain myself?

Yeah I get what your saying, once in a while I do have to "respring" with the sysinfo app which is kinda annoying but I think it's worth it.
