Would it be stupid of Apple to announce that they will not be pursuing a CDMA carrier for iPhone 4?

There is no poll, but yes I think it would be stupid for them to announce this fact. However, I don't think this will happen.

It would be stupid, but I doubt it will.

Anything is possible. However, they'd be better off in my opinion sticking with their current carriers and the GSM setup. It's also better for carriers business too, having an exclusive phone available to few select carriers would up sales on those who are offering it.

Well I don't mind if they go to sprint. I have Verizon anyway. So Either will do just fine. Apple better announce that the iPhone will work for CDMA carriers.

I'm almost sure they won't go Verizon. Possibly Sprint, but not Verizon.

Why? Because Verizon slammed Apple, AT&T and the iPhone in their 'DROID DOES' ad campaign, and they continue to. They've gone Android, they've licensed the 'DROID' logo from Lucas Arts, and I don't see them stopping now.

I had heard Verizon was trashing Apple, but some of the Verizon fans were under the impression that their precious Verizon still had a shot at the next iPhone. But on the other hand, most people (and possibly Apple) believe that Sprint is so terrible that they have very little to no chance.

To be honest, I feel like the recent plan changes and rumored network upgrades are to keep Apple's iPhone exclusive to AT&T. I really feel that way... So I'm doubting it's going anywhere. It may, I may be wrong, and the iPhone may go to every carrier.

But we'll see. 14 hours, from my count.

.. But I think it should stay on ATT. The reason why is because if it goes to all carriers it won't be a "Exclusive Phone" anymore. And next thing you know, you'll see kids with Verizon and sprint scooping these up...
