Should Apple Have Waited Until iOS 7 to Launch its Maps App?

    If only that question was asked within Apple before releasing it. They must of knew it wasn't ready to be released

    I think they should have released it as a Beta, like they did with SIRI (and SIRI is also still in beta), and then worked on it slowly while giving the consumer Google maps on the device. I have no doubt in a couple years it will matter if we use Google or Apple Maps. It just needs some significant fixes and changes. Once it is fixed I am sure it will be a consumer's favorite.

    Isn't it a beta? Nonetheless, I think they should have kept Google maps and added their own. There's room enough for the both of them.
