Not long ago, I read a thread saying you could access the music controls on the lock screen (by double tapping the home button) when there was no music playing - the catch was, you needed to be jailbroken, as it was something from Cydia. Of course, double tapping the home button brings up nothing without music playing, hence the need for this addition.
Now that I finally have done so, I'm wondering, does anyone know what exactly I need is?
Also, when playing emulators, is there a way to continue listening to music? Thanks in advance

I know there's iPodPop (maybe two words). It forces the music controls to pop up on your springboard or in an app, but I don't know if it works on the lockscreen as well.

Actually you know what? I don't know why it slipped my mind, but music controls do work on the lockscreen, even if you're not playing music. I just tried it.
