Not incredibly surprising. All of the new smart TVs have incredibly cluttered interfaces. In most cases the best thing a piece of software can do is get out of the way. That's why i'm excited for what Apple will bring to market. Not to say that they won't be plagued by the same issues but this sort of thing is typically where Apple excels. Jumping into confused markets is what they do.

The whole smart TV dilemma really isn't attracting me as much as it should've if I haven't moved to China a few years ago. Here, I never watch TV because all the shows are either about the Sino-Japanese war or just about some stupid crap. TV just isn't an real entertainment option for me over here anymore.

What I really need is something that Intel may be providing, but on an international scale, which may not be possible, but the only way I'm going to get back to TV.
