I've downloaded the 1.1.1 and have booted the ipod to recovery mode. I have been trying to shift click and restore in iTunes but it's not giving me an option to browse to a file. Do I have to do something different when connected to a Mac, as opposed to windows. I'm connected to my macBook pro.

ok did you jailbreak now since your in 1.1.1

go to jailbreakme.com in safari in your ipod touch with WiFi

    then install apps

----if you want to go to 1.1.2 and install apps there

go to installer then to tweaks 1.1.1 install oktoprep

install 1.1.2 using iTunes (must have oktoprep installed before upgrading to 1.1.2)

then use this to jailbreak 1.1.2
