I'm going on to yearbook camp soon, which will be at Cal state long beach. They said there would be internet available, but only one ethernet plug per room. However, two guys are living in each room.

Is there any program/method to broadcast a wifi network from my macbook that is connected by ethernet? It will also work for my iPod touch, right? :]

    Thanks for your help!

go to system prefs, sharing, internet sharing, and you can probably figure it out from there, and yeah it will work with your touch.

google probably has a guide for that, otherwise you could being a router or if your room mate has a win7 lappy that has it baked in.

the end got vague and i have never been able to mess around with a mac's internet settings since all the mac's I have used have been in school and the IT/computer teacher actually knew what she was doing so she kept us out of things we shouldn't be in to begin with.
