I have installed on my new Ipod and was wondering whether i should risk it and use a theme with it.

I think i did reset springboard on customize which caused the problem, but not sure.

Does anyone know if i shoudl rosk losing all my apps and stuff by adding a theme?

Has anyone else had this problem?

Never had a problem making a theme. Its all done online now. You don't just SSH and place stuff in Customize 2.0. I went back to the previous version since 2.0 is such a pain. The final version should be out in awhile and then I will give it a try.

I was going to commend you on your correct use of grammar in the title of this thread. Then I noticed you didn't capitalise the word "I." It's literally the only reason I opened this thread.

As far as Customize 2.0 goes, you should be fine. As I stated on the Customize 2.0 alpha boardes, the problem comes from missing images. Although the cause of the problem was wrong (I don't have the source code), the diagnosis was correct.

In other words, you should be fine, just ERASE all previous backups, else you will have issues with the SWoD.

2 days ago i restored, and updated to 1.1.4 and jailbroke, and i put on customize 2.0 without a flaw, i havent had any problems, so i would go for it, they car constantly updateing it and making it better.

Id say go for it, and i personally would not consider it a risk

Well, I would go with it if I were you. As Franny said, it mainly just happened in Alpha versions, and as Skylar said, it was because of missing images. Shouldn't be an issue anymore if you completely remove any old versions, and make sure you have the latest release of it.
