I've got no PS projects going, so I thought I'd try my hand at a theme. It's extremely simple, based off Gage Parker's NanoGlyphs, inspired by my CS4 icon thang.

Current release, just blue for the moment; the preview is slightly scaled, should look fine in use.

I literally made these in a few minutes, just cut & paste.

Looks nice. The ultimate downfall of any theme is that one (or more) app icon left un-themed, ruining the look. If you crank out enough of those icons, I will use it.

Hmmm... To improve it just a little bit, right click the layer (not the glyph) and go click Blending Options>Drop Shadow> and set the distance to 0 and then the size to like 5 and the spread to 0 (i think) and then lower the opacity and upload the outcome please, lol.

Looks nice, glyphs look off center, add a drop shadow as stated above maybe not have such dark shadows on the icons

Not bad, but the gradient might be a bit strong.

^^^size 5, you crazy? that'd just be giving it a big outer glow

if you're gonna do a drop shadow, do it black, distance 1, size 1-2, 50ish% opacity, with a 1px 50% opacity black outer glow (or something along these lines)

as of now all your base is is a radial gradient on a rounded rectangle.. before you start cranking out icons you should polish/refine your base a lot; getting the colors perfect, and adding any sort of glows/edge highlights etc. on there to make it something other than just a gradient and to set it apart from the rest

or not, quantity > quality for some people i s'pose

oh and your glyph layer style could also use some work, imo the shadow should be smaller and set to overlay/color dodge

Old on left, new on right. Thoughts?
I'm not too mad on the drop shadow, but it was a quick job to see what it'd look like.

your base looks like it has half-pixels on the top and left sides, maybe the bottom and right too.. open up any of the shape tools and look on the top options bar, for the little triangle next to the custom shape icon. click that, put in your dimensions, and check 'snap to pixels' and click anywhere on your image and it'll make it for you

the shadow.. eh (edit: no, it looks nice if you want it to be 120 degrees like that, could use a 1px black outer glow/stroke tho)

PLEASE KEEP THIS GOING! this looks incredible.

Edit: I liked it better without the shadow.
