Were people really unaware? I've been using this ever since its been implemented, and its one of the things missing (natively) on Android. It seems that Apple has neglected it, however, since its pretty much the exact same on iPad and there is already an undo button on the iPad keyboard. I look stupid trying to shake an iPad to undo. Worst of all, though, there isn't a way to use the undo action while using a hardware keyboard. So I have to pick up my iPad and shake it to hit undo. Nevertheless, I'm just happy there actually is an undo button.
