    Dear All,

I am setting up Ad hoc in my laptop to connect to ipod touch however I have problem deactivating firewall on the network connection. Somehow I cannot click on the check marks beside the different Network connection to disable it. It is greyed off.

However if I disable the whole ICF, ICS will not be able to start also.

I think there's some Group Policy settings on my laptop as it is from my office. Asking the administrator is definitely not possible so anyone know anyway to help me bypass this settings so that I can share out internet connection?

I have administrator rights which means i can do regedit and such. But somehow I don't really know where to change it in registry.

    Please help me.. thank you.

You mean Windows Firewall general tab? No use also as if all is greyed out. Some it says settings are controlled by Group Policy
